KinHolo grows as a connected set of modules rather than one big release. Shopping lists, tasks, budgets, people and settings are in the app today; the rest follow in the order below. This page stays current, so you can see exactly where the product is.
In the app today
Shopping lists, tasks, budgets and expenses, people and settings. The foundations every later module inherits.
Shopping lists
Shared lists that update live, grouped by shop, with a Bought button on every item and a sensible swap when something is sold out.
Tasks and chores
Shared tasks by day, with repeats, steps, priorities and the fair-load view of who is carrying what.
Budgets and expenses
Household budgets by period and category, in your own currency, with expenses logged offline and a private overspend heads-up based only on your own household's history.
People and household
Everyone with their own login and role, invited by link or code, with access set module by module.
Settings
The household's name and photo, your own details and language, and where you are signed in.
The shared week
Notifications, timetable, messaging, and the meal and family recipe planner.
Notifications
One calm daily digest instead of a stream of alerts, with quiet hours and per-channel preferences for every member.
Timetable
School and activity timetables as first-class recurring structure, so a term of commitments is entered once and then simply exists.
Messaging
Household conversation in the same place as the work it is about, scoped to each member's role rather than one open group chat.
Meal and family recipe
Plan the week's meals, keep dietary needs and allergies flagged, and hold the household's own recipes. Missing ingredients go straight to the shopping list, and optional cost estimates can feed the groceries budget.
Time, documents and trust
Calendar, document organiser, location sharing, the audit trail and the privacy dashboard.
Shared calendar
One family calendar where visibility is set per event. A therapy appointment can stay private while the school run is visible to everyone, with recurring events and invitations that respect each member's role.
Document organiser
A place for the things a household has to keep: permits, insurance, prescriptions, school forms and expiry dates, with per-member visibility.
Location sharing, Find my Family
Opt-in place sharing between members, so a parent can see that a child arrived safely. Always visible to the person being shared, never a silent feed.
Audit trail and privacy dashboard
A readable record of who created, edited or deleted what, and a plain-language view of what KinHolo holds, who can see it, and how to export or delete it.
